CANT BE PMd in rooms

hi can anyone help since i joined my name appears in upper case which i didnt want but main prob people cant pm me ie no boxes under my name

I don't see an option to pm myself,

I'm not sure that sending myself a message is something I need on here, although I do text myself on my phone

You won't see the boxes under your own name, only on others if they have them switched on

ok yes isee, but i asked someone in room earlier he said were no boxes at all under my name, any idea how i can change name to lower case

What have you selected in the "Allow private msgs & pokes from:" dropdown box?

You need to set that to "Anybody" or "Friends only" to allow PMs.

"denied" and "allow" are not available choices in the "Allow private msgs & pokes from:" dropdown box. The options are "Anybody", "Nobody" and "Friends only". Which have you set it to?
