facebook stalker from fab
Jump to: Newest in thread
so we had 1 cam session on skype with a single bloke back in april, after that he was constantly ringing me and messaging on skype. So we blocked him, well now its gone further. He has taken the time to not only track me down on facebook but also my husband, demanding a 3 some. Problem is I don't know his fab profile name, so cant report him on here. Now i am worried, if hes taken the time to find us on facebook. What else is he capable of doing, what would be the best route to take. We have blocked him on facebook, but why would someone do that. Im getting to the stage now, that i am thinking fab isnt safe to be on any longer. This is the second time this has happened, has anyone else experienced this before. we have been on here a lot of years, we have never had this happen, until this year. Any advice would be really appreciated please |

Just ignore him he will get bored when he finds somebody new as long as you don’t reply he has no cause to contact you..... fab is like a box of chocolates people are always looking for something better that’s how this site works |

Did you give him your phone number or email address and were either of them the same ones you use for Facebook? If so and you have your Facebook contacts synced that will be how he found you.
Have you shared photos with him that are also on Facebook?

Im not sure if the email address is the same for my facebook and skype, but never gave him our number. He found my husband first and his email is different. Never shared any pictures with him at all. Just that 1 cam session. I best get all the email address's changed if i can. Thank you, i will get on and check all those now xx |

Go into Facebook privacy settings and see if you can find a way to unsync contacts too.

They will take it seriously, speaking from experience.
It's better to do something now than to wait and wonder if he's going to do more. If he's putting you in a state of fear or alarm he is in the wrong. Don't worry about blushes re this site either, it what these skanks rely on but police are not there to judge your lifestyle, christ half of them are on here too lol. |

I will do thank you, i just dont get why he would do it in the first place. Facebook is a different type of social media platform to this one. He should of accepted the fact i blocked him on skype, not go searching for me to demand a 3 some. I just find it disrespectful and scary thats all |

Thank you, I hope you managed to get your situation sorted. Im going to go on the police website and report him online. At least then ive got it logged. If hes done this before, he might be known to the police. Which is a really scary thought xx |

Can only add my voice to the police route.
There are laws against harassment and revenge porn, so if his intent is to coerce you, then the police will take action.
Even if it is only to call him up and warn him that any future contact will result in police action.
The fear of getting outed to friends, family and even work is always a risk when you live an alternate lifestyle, and thats what these pricks thrive upon. Sadly it happens all too often and can have some serious life affecting consequences.
Police all the way, they will have seen and heard it all before. What we do here (meeting others for sexy sexy time) is not illegal.
What this prick is doing however is! |

thank you everyone, ive been on the police website and i have reported him to the police. I would rather have it logged to be on the safe side. In case anything did escalate, you never know what mind set some of these people have. My husband is not happy, im just hoping that us blocking him from everything. Will be the end of it and i never hear from him again. Thank you for all the support, it has really helped xxx |

"I would trust Fab before facebook and never give FB details "
I never gave him any of my personal details, not my name nothing. i have changed all my setting. Email address's everything. He only tracked me down on facebook, because i blocked him on skype and if i knew his fab profile name. I would also block and report him on here if i could, just shows how cautious you have to be now sadly xx |

We had a problem with someone who was on our old friends list on our previous profile, He found our names by reverse checking a photo and it was on FB.
He got the hint after a visit and soon disappeared. |

Back when I first joined something similar happened to me. He couldn’t message me on here because he was outside my age range, so he found me on Kik because I’d set it up with the same username I had on here at the time. What I hadn’t realised was that Kik defaulted to showing my real name. So when he messaged me on Kik and I ignored him, he found me on Facebook, friend requested me, and started messaging me on Messenger demanding I talk to him.
I naturally blocked him on FB and Messenger, on Kik, and on here. But it was pretty scary. I made sure I took my real name off Kik, made my friends list on FB visible to friends only (on the basis that it’s harder to threaten me if they can’t contact anyone I know), and made sure that none of my pics can be reverse searched to FB. Scary how one little mistake ended up being used against me like that, it’s made me pretty paranoid now. |

its so scary, yet these people dont care at all. What has scared me is this person doesnt live that far away and it just concerns me. As they are clearly not right in the head, they are selfish people. Those single selfish rats, spoil it for the decent blokes on this site. I have changed everything now. But he shouldnt of tried to find me in the first place, thats like serial killer type stuff that you see in films. Not good at all xxx |

Don't use photos here that are elsewhere, as reverse image search allows people to trace you elsewhere, potentially finding full names, employment info etc.
I'd potentially lockdown my fbook account more or consider a new 1 or alternative. Ir doesn't stop what people already know.
I'd do some detective work, evaluating what someone could have already discovered, which may put your mind at rest. Phone numbers, profile names that are used in other places and photos are readily traceable. Always remove photo information before using publicly, as it can reveal the geolocation data of where it was taken, which isn't good if it's in your home..
Police can give advice as well as investigate but the advice could be very helpful.
It can be helpful to create a timeout on your account anywhere, to prevent snooping too. |

A few facebooks tips for this and to help prevent identity theft:
Use a fake date of birth
Put in a fake home town and don't put in your University etc
Remove the app from your phone and just access via the web
Lock it down by reviewing each privacy setting
Make sure you have a unique password for your email that is used for account recovery/password reset
Use 2 factor authentication with a mobile number
Consider changing your surname as well eg to Way |

Hopefully it hasn't put you off camming, as that would be a shame.
But you have to feel safe and assured before you do anything again. |
