Removing a verification

I totally understand why new veris can't be posted. Can they be deleted? I got a very belated verification 2 months ago from someone I met last year.

Unfortunately it now makes me look like I'm willing to meet despite advice not to cos I can't post the text explaining that it's a veri from a meet some time ago...

Help!

You can block them but that just removes the text, not the verification from your verification summary but people will only see that if you choose to show it on your profile

I just want to remove the implication that I was happy to meet!

Here and There

You can’t get rid of it from your summary, so the only way is to hide your summary all together if it really bothers you.

And how would one do that? The help pages are not terribly helpful... Do I really need to go to the site organisers?

I can't help thinking that you are being a bit to sensitive about receiving a late verfication OP. You have explained the circumstances and could do so to anybody that asked. It's really none of their business though is'nt it ?
