Desktop version not showing friends updates

SLOUGH

I was on my own phone and saw a request for members to become photo moderators. I was going to apply but it says I have to do this on a desktop. So I went onto my PC but now I can't a find a link to updates. Why doesn't this show on the desktop?

If you click the Fabswingers banner at the top of the page on desktop. Scroll down a little and you will see it.

It shows at the top of friends updates.
