I am on Linux and Zorin, have a cheese booth webcam and can't get it to work in the Chat facility. On initial entry, it defaults to Adobe Flash player which is out of date, and using the "Allow" option results in a blank area of the screen where the camera should be. - all advice appreciated! |

1) I'd suggest reposting this in the Chat Forum, as you're more likely to get a response there. A Mod may well move it to there.
2) You don't mention if you're using a mainstream browser like Chrome, or one which is only available for Linux (if such a thing exists). The more popular the browser, the more likely someone will be able to help you.
3) Is the webcam recognised by Cheese?
4) Can you use the cam on other sites? |
