Your profile pic is your public pic, is it marked as private in your gallery?
Changes were made a few months back that a profile pic has to be one of your public images, it can no longer be friend only or private. |

I get it now. There isn't a heading 'private photos' in the photo/video section of a profile. I must have imagined it. Thanks to people who helped & sorry for being thick. I blame my lack of sex! |
