screenshots by fab, while on cam?!?

Hiya,
i've just been sent a screenshot of an add on fab, promoting the chat rooms and the 'on cam now' pictures are showing myself and my best friend (screenshotted last night, as we aren't on cam now), our full faces on show.
Obviously i am aware it is our choice to cam, but have i missed some small print somewhere that says screenshots will be taken, and used for promotional purposes?
Is there anyway to request these are taken down?

Did you click the report button normally on the bottom the side of messages you can put a message there I think |

Fab don't do promoting as far as I'm aware and iv been on here a long time! Someone taking a screenshot from their own device isnt something that can be stopped as wrong as it is. |

Fab don't do promoting as far as I'm aware and iv been on here a long time! Someone taking a screenshot from their own device isnt something that can be stopped as wrong as it is."
Ive seen little promo pics that look like screen shots from cam rooms. They appear when you are not a site supporter on your home page (to entice you to buy site supoorter)
Don't know about anything being in the small print about fab using your image. Maybe admin can confirm. |

I'm abit worried too as I think due to lockdown alot of bored people have signed up . I think fab should be a photo verified and payed only site I've had a psycho ex of a *single guy* try stalk me plus umpteen amounts of fake accounts wasting our time getting abit worried that the site is going down hill . I remember the sister site dogging over 10 years ago was pay only . And only paying members could go in chatc |

The only pic I have seen on here advertising the chat room is the same 1 that has been on here for the past 10 years, with no faces on display. |

hey, thanks for all of the replies.
Fab support have contacted me and explained. Allbeit it don't really understand the response. But are updating their privacy things.
For those asking, it wasn't some random that had screenshot us. This was snapshots of our cam being used as an ad, 12 hours after we'd been on the cam room.
Queen - I will message you the picture now if I can?
this wasn't a post having a go, just trying to get my face taken off the homepage!

I've seen them too when not site supporter at the bottom of the home page. Only stills, not live feed, but showing faces, privates and whatever else was on view. |

Consent maybe. Bit different being in a chat room, you chosing when to show your face and being used to promote the site to anyone.  |

Anyone can enter the "site supporter" room. The only restriction is if you are not a site supporter you cannot type.
But entering the room is not restricted to site supporters only. So you can view cams in there and see chat. You just cannot type and join conversation if you don't have the site supporter.
Actually. Not sure if this is how it should be or whether is it a site glitch or problem. Maybe admin will see this and advise/fix it if it's not meant to be that way? |

This. If I show my face I check who is in the room first. If my face ends up on the home page for all to see - I'm not happy. Hence not been on cam since I've rejoined. |

Same thing happened to me a while back. A friend was on their laptop viewing Fab and took a pic of his screen and sent it to me. Yhere was a small thumbnail of my cam. Freaked me out a little as I wasn't aware it was a thing.
Obviously my face is on my profile so I'm not too fussed now. But it's useful to know that your cam may appear elsewhere to those not in the same chatroom as you. Especially if you think you're only viewable by those on chat |
