Someone using my photo

Hey,

Another account has used 1 of my photos on their public pics.

I have reported, but concerned as they also have friends pics which I am unable to see for obvious reasons.

Can you advise how long it takes for admin to have it removed please?

I had the same problem I reported him and then confronted him. He blocked me and I haven’t had any feedback from admin at all .i don’t know if he’s still on here and still using my pics

I chose not to confront yet to see if admin do anything first, but I am furious right now.

I had a similar thing happen to me several months back. A fellow Fabster I had been chatting with told me another couple were using my pics. I told admin though through the correct channels and they sorted it pretty quickly... the same day... took the pics off their profile and then I saw their account had gone. Got the chap I had been chatting to to check for me as well.

It’s not nice... I know how you feel, but I didn’t contact them directly, as many of them were in friends only so I couldn’t see them. Hopefully they will rectify things for you soon. xxx

Admin are shit they never do anything

I've reported people for having pictures downloaded off porn sites and they don't do anything

Thanks for this, it gives me a little reassurance that admin will do something. Someone else told me also, and they have reported the offending profile also.

Just want it sorted. Not a happy fabster today

Well all I can say from my experience is I found them very helpful. I have been on here quite a while though, if that makes any difference?!

I have added the user to my hot list now so I can keep a check on it. It's still there and was active a few minutes ago. Grrrr.

You need to give admin a bit of time especially at the moment as the number of reports have no doubt increased substantially

They just take a pic of it on their phone, crop it and repost as their own...

The standard answer is it can take up to 48 hours to deal with the report.

Here is an explanation from Admin from another thread on how they deal with reports.

******Just a quick note. If people report others and we can verify that they have broken site rules, we always take action (either a first and final warning, partially suspended account, fully suspended, mixture of the above).

Every single report sent via the REPORT link is reviewed. Clearly it's not in our interests to have people on here who are bad for the site. Equally we need to verify what has been reported and be fair to those who have been reported.

PS. we never provide feedback on what has happened. It's just not practical given that we get 100s of reports a day.

Here is what the page says after a report has been submitted:

Your feedback has been saved.

A website admin will shortly review your feedback and take the necessary action. After reviewing the evidence available to us, we may disable an account, remove a user, disable certain aspects of that user's account or issue a warning.

By leaving feedback you help improve the site for everyone who uses it. Thank you.******
