Meeting still happening site doing nothing

Just a quick one to say we’ve seen endless new varies, the covid19 selection for reporting users doesn’t work and no one seems to be getting banned. Even users with 20+ varies who should want to protect the name of swinging are going to drag it through the mud by still meeting. Owners and moderators clearly care more about the fivers and not our nhs. As a nurse I’m utterly disgusted.

No doubt this post will get removed.

"The meet verification is disabled so are you sure they are not cam veris?"

Unfortunately not i reported a guy who joined 1 week ago and got a meet verification. He asked me to meet him in person. But luckily the profile was removed.

They could be previous fabbers rejoining and getting people to re-verify them. I sometimes do this to help friends I've met who are returning.

Worthing

We are getting loads of meet requests too. I keep reporting them, as I am also a front line worker. I think some have disappeared but I don't know what the reason for them leaving was.

Let's not jump to conclusions and assume the worst.

There are plenty of innocent ways members can get verifications.

Also I was pretty sure that you can't verify by meet at the moment? Might be wrong.

Site doesn’t care. Simple as. My OH messaged a guy that replied saying he couldn’t talk he was on his way to meet a couple. He’s still a member.

The site can't stop people meeting.

They have done everything they can to make it harder and to deter people from doing it.

I've been messaged asking if I would go and meet a couple. I said no, but not everyone does that right thing.

That's just life. Unfortunately it will always be the same.

This is what the bit where you leave verifications says..

*Meeting in person (Historic/previous meets only, no one should be meeting during Covid)

*Webcam (seen on cam, checked not a video)

*Phone: You can't verify by phone any more

So yes, verifications can be left still.

Ayup.....you a stakeholder or something?? I assure you if the covid19 report bit don’t work (just checked) and people’s profiles ain’t being removed that’s borderline feck all. IMO

No you can’t stop people but you can make it harder or at least try.

I’d say there’s a lot more people getting caught out and hiding there profiles than anyone being banned.

Ultimately, the site can only advise people. They can't force people to behave in any particular way. Personally I think the site have gone above and beyond expectations. They can't be held responsible for the actions of individuals.

Please report any mail or profile asking to meet.

Admin do look at all reports but there are thousands of reports to go through so it can take some time.

Here is an explanation from Admin from another thread on how they deal with reports.

******Just a quick note. If people report others and we can verify that they have broken site rules, we always take action (either a first and final warning, partially suspended account, fully suspended, mixture of the above).

Every single report sent via the REPORT link is reviewed. Clearly it's not in our interests to have people on here who are bad for the site. Equally we need to verify what has been reported and be fair to those who have been reported.

Admin

PS. we never provide feedback on what has happened. It's just not practical given that we get 100s of reports a day.

Here is what the page says after a report has been submitted:

--

Your feedback has been saved.

A website admin will shortly review your feedback and take the necessary action. After reviewing the evidence available to us, we may disable an account, remove a user, disable certain aspects of that user's account or issue a warning.

By leaving feedback you help improve the site for everyone who uses it. Thank you.******
