Can’t access Club Reviews

Is there any reason why we can’t access the club reviews at the moment? I was hoping to read some reviews to look into attending new clubs once lockdown is over but it just redirects me to the COVID19 posts?

Just seems a bit unnecessary to block people from accessing them

I agree we should be able to see the reviews for clubs it’s not like we can attend them yet as the are all closed due to COVID19

I think it’s totally unnecessary to take down the club reviews. It’s not like we can go. My thoughts are clubs are going to need all the help they can get, by not being able to view them this will just make it harder for them to survive. Id be using this for clubs in certain areas with a view to planing visiting them once this is all over. Fab go the right thing and make them viewable.

There's a counter arguement that enabling the club review section might lead to people contacting clubs with enquiries as to when they'll reopen. Some may not. I suspect that once there's a more defined timeline as to when movement restrictions are eased that the access may be reinstated - but given the frequent reports that pubs, bars and clubs are likely to be last to get back to normal (possibly xmas!) is there any rush to start making plans?

Perhaps the site functionality can't enable viewing without also enabling the ability to leave reviews - who knows!

But in the grand scheme of things is it really a big issue?

Problem is with your attitude we might as well just resign ourselves with what the papers are saying that Pub’s ect won’t be open until the end of the year. In this fact it’s only the tabloid papers. Shit Sun that are saying this.

Think with your attitude you’ve given up full stop.

Nope.

I'd love for things to get back to (as close to) normal as soon as possible.

I'm a self employed sole trader and my business relies on events currently banned from happening due to lockdown and social distancing requirements.

But is there any point in me making plans for returning to earning a living until any announcements are made? Nope.

It would be a pointless waste of time and effort. Some venues I've worked at may not survive this crisis. Some of the people that attend the events I work at may no longer be able to.

What I'm saying is that in the case of club reviews you may get all excited about planning a trip to a club that sadly no longer exists, where you were perhaps hoping to meet people who previously left reviews who won't be able to afford to visit any club for a long, long while once they're allowed to reopen.

Is a little patience to much to ask til clubs have a better idea of when they can recommence trading?

OK.

I’m an optimist and it appears you’re a pessimist so I guess a good luck is the best thing I can say.

Let’s see the club reviews back so we can all plan our trips to the amazing clubs that we have in the U.K. which I’m sure are being updates as we speak.

Sober Fleet Street journalists? This was not how they expected the C 21 to become!
