I don't have an iPad, but I'm sure I've seen other threads that advise using the Puffin browser and the desktop chat site.

I use my iPad cam using puffin sometimes

I used puffin on my iPhone but it got closed down

Puffin will still work, at least to the end of the year.lf you upgrade and pay a fiver.
