Yes, it's Americanised but I needed something snappy for the title.
In America the Sadie Hawkins dance (I don't know why it is), is the event where the girls ask the boys to go with them, taking this as the cue, this is a ladies PM only thread...
Any gender can post that they're in but it's only the ladies that message the others to let them know that; 'ooft, they're hot!'
I doubt that filters will be an issue but please respect them anyway!

It is quite a blurred line to be honest. Personally something like this is less of an actual game more of a social interaction. It's an attempt to get people talking and connected.
Where as a game (in terms of common games on the forum) is much more silly at its core. The whole "snog marry avoid" themes, or the "poster above" are games, hell even the "pic game of the day" threads are more of a game.
To me this is much more than a game, and even though it has some attributes of a game, it should not be relegated to the game section due to its intent to establish connections. |
