I'll be in. I listen to Classic FM and Planet Rock, occasionally Radio X - none of them play that kind of music, even at Christmas, so I fancy my chances. Last year I did quite well until Bloody Sainsbury ambushed me at 10pm buying dog food. 🙄

I've got no problem with Wham, but I can't stomach that fucking New York crap. I hated it the first time I heard it, and despise it more with each passing year. As soon as I hear the opening piano intro I have the urge to want to smash the radio....but usually I just instantly turn it off instead !
It was shit when it came out in 1987.
It's been shit for 37 years.
It'll still be shit as long as I've got a hole in my arse.
If I ever meet the Pet Shop Boys, I will GLADLY buy them a drink for keeping it off the No. 1 spot in 1987. |

I heard it 3 times last month so there's no real hope of me lasting that long; I guess it doesn't help when I asked Alexa to "play Christmas songs" and the first one that came up was Last Christmas - that Alexa is a real kill joy, don't tell me that she doesn't know what she 's doing, she bloody does! |

I'm still in. The only possibility of hearing it today was as I queued to pay for petrol. I wish my garage had pay at the pump, but you have to pay inside . They wished it could be Christmas every day (which I also hate) but no Wham, and so I survive to day 4. |
