Hi everybody. For no other reason than to combat frustration and boredom in lockdown I thought I’d invent a little game. It’s not a rant about perceived time wasters or a criticism of anybody. It’s just a game. Nothing over than that. A bit of fun for all those that perceive they have been DELIBERATELY messed around or had their time wasted.
So, the rules are...
You write a brief scenario (that actually happened). You then start the sentence off. And, like a Crap, swinging form of blankety blank you insert some spaces for others to fill in.
BS = Brief Scenario
Here’s ours...
BS: We’re stood in the Pub in Blackpool waiting for the couple (we’ve been chatting to all week) to turn up. We then receive a message from the Male. “Hi. It’s male half here. Missus is not here because ——————— but I am happy to meet you both alone.
What are the missing words?

I managed a branch of a temporary recruitment agency for nearly 20 years
It prepared me well for Fab and peoples excuses
I've literally heard it all
My top 3 were:
I can't work Fridays because the wife has piano lessons and I have to restrain the dog
I need some time off because my monkey has depression, and my all time favourite...
I can't come in today because I've been to the Doctors and he said I need my lungs removed. But I'll be OK for Thursday
