You and three others have escaped from the Mad Scientist’s prison. You foolishly only have one torch between you but you have made as far as the old rope bridge. The bridge is only strong enough to carry two at a time.
You are the fastest it will take you 1min to cross the bridge, Tina will take 2mins to cross the bridge, Ned will take 5mins and Dave 10mins. It’s so dark that you’ll need the torch to cross the old rope bridge. If one of you is caught they might give up your secret hiding place, so you’ll need to make sure you all get across and then cut the rope bridge.
The Mad Scientist’s Guards are 17mins behind you.

Weigh 3 against 3. If the they're equal, the 7th is heavier. If one 3 is heavier, you weigh 2 of those 3 against each other. |
