Your thought process is fantastic and you're so close.
Think about what the monkeys are carrying |

Each monkey has two hands plural, and one parrot. Two monkeys, four hands two Parrots.
Am I missing something here? Is it me? I was up until four this morning trying to figure this out. Still I come to five.
I have a feeling that the original answer is one, the rabbit, but I think that it's been rewritten badly and the answer to the posted question is five. |

"The answer is actually 5 "
Depends if you're counting birds as animals,
These quizzes always have a little twist so I was going 3 and counting the parrots as birds
But I'll go with 5 for the effort people put in and say yes birds can count as animals |

Of course birds are animals.
Are fleas ticks and gut worms animals? Yes. Do we know the parasitic burden of these creatures? No, but in a healthy wild environment there would be some kind of parasites living on the rabbit, monkeys and parrots.
I'll tell you a story;
An elephant was walking along one day and he got a thorn stuck in his foot. He became irritated by it and asked each creature that he came across if they could remove the thorn for him. Each creature was either too busy or selfish to do the elephant the favour that was requested, until....
He came across a mouse. Now the elephant was quite scared of the mouse and the mouse knew it, but by now the elephant was in quite some pain so plucked up the courage to ask for the thorn to be removed. The mouse replied;
"Ok, so long as you let me fuck you up your arse".
The elephant thought for a second or two and reluctantly agreed. Once the thorn was removed, mousezilla (I made that name up, the rest is a true story) made his way up the elephants hind legs and once his tale was aside started to pound the elephant anally.
Meanwhile a monkey, sat in his lofty perch saw the sexual act unfold and taking umbridge with what he saw plucked a coconut from a branch and threw it as hard as he could at the scene.
The coconut hit the elephant square between his eyes causing him to rear up on his hind legs and trumpet really loudly.
Mousezilla behind, was holding on, up to his little mousey balls in elephant booty shouting.
"Yeah, take it you bitch, take it"! |
