Does anyone know of anywhere we could possibly hire a wheelchair. My husband has completely put his back out and we are due to fly tomorrow

Hoping he might get by with the help of some walking sticks but otherwise I might need to push him around.

Hoping he feels much better by tomorrow but it’s not looking likely.

Hello. I am unable to assist but maybe phone Peng Travel in the village. They are always very helpfull. Your other option night be to buy one here and take it on the flight. To avoid paying return baggage charges just leave it in Cap.

I bought two second-hand wheel chairs in the UK for fifty pounds each. I am not sure how much it costs to book in as hand luggage.

Maybe phone the agent with whom you booked. There are no hire shops in the village itself .

If you are flying from Luton I can give you the gate number in advance which will help you get to the front of queue

You can get a wheelchair from Argos £80 click and collect. There is no charge to take a wheelchair on a plane but it has to go in the hold. They will lend you one at the airport while yours is being loaded.

We ended up hiring a scooter which was the perfect way for us to get around the village. Plus I didn’t have to push Mr T.

The alcohol somewhat numbed his back and we ended up having a great time, sad to be home..

Was awesome can’t wait for next year. Slightly tempted to go at the end of summer but not sure we can afford it.
