We fly into Montpellier with EasyJet in June and are booked into Heliopolis
Do we need to get airport shuttle into Montpellier La Roche then TGV to Agde or can we in fact take the far shorter shuttle to the new Gare du Sud and get on there to Agde?
Basically does the new station opened last year do direct trains to Agde
Cheers |

Cheers" An interesting question. Last time I went the bus stopped at the station but only one person got off . It would make the journey a lot easier if there is a direct service. I am there Thursday so can check. |

Hopefully someone with a better knowledge of French may be able to advise. |

The answer was that she did not know and I had to ask at the station.
Hardly a helpfull answer and I was surprised that the tourist office did not know.
One would think that they would keep timetables at the airport. |

Montpellier sud de France has hardly any trains according to bahn dot com and the only destinations served are Toulouse, Bordeaux and Marseille. Miss the train there and you are shafted, not in a nice way either! Use St Roche the main station which has regular trains to Agde, both TER locals and TGV. |
