Costa Blanca Spain...

It seems that the Cap d'Agde listing thread is getting a bit clogged up with various questions, answers, and general chit chat.

So please post anything like that here so that the listing thread can stick to its original purpose.

TIA.

How do you get cap from Beziers airport on a Sunday?

There is a very good Taxi service from Beziers to Cap d'Agde, and not too expensive for the distance. You can book it online.

Hi,

I went to Cap D'adge for the first time last year and used the excellent bus service from the airport to the train station and then got on the number 4 bus I think. Each bus cost a euro each I think.

The issue I had was getting back. I called a local taxi to get back to the airport as the bus service does not start until 9. The taxi I booked never turned up but luckily another taxi was picking someone up from a nearby apartment and luckily they let me share the taxi to the train station to to catch the airport bus.

Can anyone recommend a good taxi service please as I will have a similar issue this year ?

Flights to Beziers with Ryan air from Luton. That's the closest airport.

I've used Foncia agency to book my accommodation. You are going the same time as me and it's the Whitsun holiday in Europe making accommodation a little more expensive.

Hi. I go to Cap about six times a year and September is one of my favourite months .

However different people go for different reasons . If the foam party is on your to do list they may have finished by then.

Nearly everywhere else is open and you will find plenty to do. An added bonus is that accommodation is cheaper in September.

Thanks for your reply . I don't think we're too fussed by the foam parties really, we were more wondering whether things would be closed so your reply was very useful!

"Hi all! Us and another couple are considering going early September, will things still be in "full swing" then, as it were? "

The first two weeks of September until the middle weekend and last week of June are the best times in the Cap for our age range.

For yourselves, high season, July/ August would be more appropriate to your age range.

In any case you’ll have a great time, everything be open but the Cap does start shutting down from about the 15 th September

Hmm okay, we hadn't realised that there was different times particular age ranges went, very useful to hear from people who live there so thank you . I'm sure we can find ourselves some trouble regardless if age ranges, but we'll definitely consider what you've said. This has been the most helpful forum thread I've ever posted on, very much appreciated .

Cap d’Agde, France

I think there’s less younger folk at these times because many of them have kids back in school.

In July/August it’s common in France for grandparents to have their grandkids for a few weeks in the summer giving parents some together time.

Don’t worry though, there will be plenty of younger folk around in September and especially at the weekend when the locals come in for a night out

When you arrive at the naturist village there are vehicle and pedestrian barriers. Just before you get to them, there is an office where you buy your passes, either by the day or week.

Not sure of the costs this year, but don't forget to take some ID.

Have fun...

A "day pass" can only be used once and you have to be in the VILLAGE before 2000H. You can buy a 3 day pass which gives unrestricted access.

Ok, hers a few to start with, everyone has their favourites..

Le Glamour.

Le Jul's.

Tantra

Those are the ones we often go to, but there are others if you are into BDSM or enjoy the free for all cinema type of club.

If it's your first time there, part of the fun is exploring...

If single guys are your thing then we would add Jeux de Mains in Port Ambonne to the list. Le Jules is (supposedly) couples only but it does get one or two guys from time to time.

There is a lively BI/Gay/TV/TS scene in Cap. Le Look (just past Melrose) seems to be one of the more popular bars.

North Lakes and Manchester

Some general info we share when asked, happy to help we’ve been going for 12 years now x

For bars at night there are options for people watching around port nature or the marina, la pilouterie is good & waiki has a terrace overlooking the main walkway.

At 11pm Melrose or Eros are very popular where you can get up on the bars dance & strip on the pole, or just watch several others

Clubs depends on your preference, couples only at 2x2, le joules and a couples area in Tantra but it gets very busy at weekends. Jeux de Maine (game of hands) says it all, it’s a gangbang club but has recently become very popular with TVs. Clare Obscur is fetish but very serious (no good for us) strict dress code and no laughing!!

Le Glamour is high end and priced, it’s better to go in a group and share a bottle (60euros/couple for 2 couples with a litre of spirit and 2 bottles of mixer) but you all have to drink the same.

All clubs charge an entry generally 30 euros with 2 drinks vouchers per couple drinks then 10 euro each so most have a few to get tipsy first.

We rarely do clubs these days as we have quite a few friends and balcony parties are very popular and very international. Going to foam party or pool parties are great way to meet people and get invites, plus lots of fun.

Any further questions happy to help, oh and if going to clubs men’s dress code won’t allow shorts (catches a few out) but heels and a dog collar would be fine

Cap Next Week - Busy or Quiet ??

I know the main season is more July / August, but trying to gauge what Mid June is like?

Are bars and the clubs still busy or not so much?

Would be arriving on Thursday, leaving Saturday...just a short blast.

Not expecting it to be full on, but be nice if it was more toward lively than the opposite.

Hi everyone, we're in Cap at the moment and staying just outside the naturist village. We're wondering how/if we can go to the clubs that are inside the village at night? We've seen that people not staying within the village must leave by 10pm, so how does that work with going to the clubs in the evening, is this not possible?

Also, is there any recommendation for which night is best to visit Glamour, Friday or Saturday?

Any help is much appreciated!

If you buy a pass 3 days or more you have unrestricted access - departure isn't restricted you can leave when you want!

You can buy a pass to enter the village from the tourist office which is at the main gate. I bought a week long pass last year for I think 45 euros

"Which are the best bars to meet single guys??"

Meeting single guys in bars isn't quite as easy as you may think unless your French is up to speed.

While there are always a few English speaking singles there, they can be a bit thin on the ground.

Probably the best bet would be 02'Bizoux but most of the French guys seem to prefer the clubs.

"Which are the best bars to meet single guys??"
If single guys are seeking a bit of action in Cap d Agde they probably do not consider the bars as being a great hunting ground . There are probably better choices availble. As single guys are up against intense competition they have to target their market carefully. As a single guy I target

1. The Sauna ( probably the best market in Cap ).

2. Organise soiree evenings in my apartment.

3. Advertise in the local free fly sheet which is circulated in the village .This publication has the advantage that you are allowed to publish your phone number. However most couples responding speak French so you may encounter a language barrier unless you speak a little French. Even after you have exchanged photos and arranged your meet you still have to give instructions of your exact location and how to access it .

4. Use a French swingers site .

5. On occasions use the adult cinema (it is a bit down market but have had some very good results in there

Bars are where I go to either people watch or enjoy the music.

I guess they may work for some single guys . The trouble with bars you do not know if people are there to socialise or seeking to hook up with single guys.

I keep the bars for a social evening and for hooking up the various other sources mentioned above .

We would agree with that.

We actively look for single guys in Cap.

Over the years Mrs H must have fucked around a hundred guys there but only around a handful are ones that we have met in the bars. The vast majority have been in the clubs/sauna's or private parties.

Sad thing is that she really enjoys it when a guy chats her up in a bar and if she likes him it will almost certainly finish up back at the apartment. But those moments are few and far between in Cap.

"

It is fairly rare for single guys to be approached in bars. On a few occasions I have been complimented on my outfit .

However I did get chatting to one lady in the Pilouterie Bar after she approached me . She knew the bar staff well , was with her husband and was a good dancer. I bought hee two drinks . However when we discussed going back to my apartment to progress matters it turned out that money was involved . She even told me where the cash machine was when I advised that I did not have the sum which she required on me.I have no objection to ladies selling themselves. I just thought that it would have been sensible for her to have disclosed this first. Having said that we had a pleasant hour together and she was not offended when I declined her offer. I could have just popped into the Sauna .

I have also been approached on a few occasions in Port Ambonne Commercial centre by ladies offering paid services .

The bars are probably not probably the best hunting ground.

Guys, you have to be able to chat to couples. Quite a few times in Jonny's we have approached single guys only to find they are, for lack of a better description, socially inept. Plonking yourself at the end of the bar with a scowl on your face isn't the best look.

We have also found Le Look to be a brilliant bar, just down from Melrose. Although a predominantly gay bar, been invited to some great parties from guys and couples we have met in there. Have fun. X

We’re planning our first visit - a short trip next month , our accommodation choices are at the marina or the plage du mole - are either of these in the actual resort ?? Finding it difficult to see the boundary between resort and town on maps . If you’re staying in the resort are there extra charges to get in/take a car etc

The Marina probably means the main marina in Cap d'Agde resort. If so it is a fair distance from the village. It could also mean the smaller Port Ambonne marina which is inside the village but unless someone is actually staying on a boat very few would describe accommodation there as "Marina"

Plage du Mole is also well outside of the naturist village.

For hotels if it isn't called Hotel Eve, Ozz Inn, Natureva Spa, or Riad then it is almost certainly outside.

For Apartments the blocks are Heliopolis, Port Nature, Port Ambonne, Port Soliel, and Port Venus. If it has any other name it will be outside.

The only camp site is Rene Oltra all others are outside.

Then there are the two swinger complexes Jardins Eden and Babylon which are both inside.

Most of Cap d'Agde is a very large vanilla family resort, the naturist village (although quite large in it's own right) is only a small part of it.

If you put "Boulevard des Matelots Cap d'Agde" into google maps it will take you to the centre of the village.

Also street view has been through the village so from there you can do a virtual walk around.

Forget to add.

If you are staying inside the village you still have to buy your gate pass, although at a heavily discounted rate.

Last year it was around 20€ for a car with 2 people for 2 weeks.

It is much more expensive if you are staying outside.

And that is the biggest problem of the lot.

In the daytime busses are cheap. Late night taxi's are almost non existent.

If the naturiste village was a normal resort (non swinger) I would imagine it would be relatively cheap, particularly regarding the standard of accomodation and public areas.

However it's not a normal resort nor normal prices, it's one place where you have to dig into your pocket but it's worth it. Staying outside the village will dilute your expererience considerably. We've never seen any public transport/taxis after dark.

Centre Port is about a 20 minute walk to the village, Plage Mole is a similar walk. There is also an option to hire bikes, which cuts the time dramatically! A taxi called "Joe" does the night run - has a contract with Oz Inn for their guests- if you go into reception you can get his card!

The best places get booked up months in advance, so you might struggle.

Try Oltra campsite, they have mobile homes that are possibly the best value accommodation in Cap

Good Luck

Hello. Single ladies are a fairly rare sight in Cap d Agde. Daytime the breach tends to be couples and single guys and at nights the bars tend to be the same . Again the Sauna tends to be couples and single men. This is despite the fact that the entry price is very competitive for single ladies .

The good side of being a single lady is that entry prices to clubs will be very low and you will probably get lots of attention ( though the attention of some may not be what you want )

Accommodation in Cap is very expensive especially if you have no one to share the costs with.

Only you can make the decision about whether it is worth going. You have little to lose apart from the fact that accommodation is very expensive.

they made us pay 70 euros for the French equivalent of the bn card yesterday. Bought bn membership last year which wasn't required in June here, so didn't renew even though bn tried to get us to stay members with discounts. wish we had now,the 70 euros joint membership for two surcharge stung a bit !

it's a British naturist Club membership . It's meant to show you are a proper naturist I guess, was not asked for last year in June but last saturday.we got asked for one. And when we showed our expired one they noticed so were forced to cough up seventy euros for a bit of cardboard with one of our names written on it with pen. What's worse it's only for this Calender year in France so we can't use it for Next June even. Not saying everyone will get asked for membership when they arrive but it could happen like it did this time at Rene oltra for us

"Thinking of going to adge in 2 weeks time as a single Male wheres best to stay and where is all the fun at

Think that the whole point of this thread is to read it through and most questions you have will have been answered already.

"

Great point.

Please be aware, single men are not allowed in all the clubs and bars.

Some are for couples only.

Hi. As you are going in the peak season you will find accommodation is ex pensive. ( that is assuming you can find availability ) . Your only option is to book an apartme t and expect to pay between £500 and £1000 per week. Apartments in the lower price range will be small and not suitable for organising parties in.

All the fun comes at a price . Budget for a club entry fee of 50 Euro per night. You can probably have great fun in the Sauna but there will be a lot of dead time just waiting for action in the Sauna. There is also the adult cinema. It is a bit down market. Entry fee is 12 Euros.

In 14 visits over 10 years we've never been asked for one.

We have never been on the campsites but we have heard they are a little more conservative. Just come to the bars at night time. Plenty going on!!

You can swing discreetly inside your campervan, but not in public on the campsite as there are lots of families and people who are just naturists there.

Most swinging happens on the beach, in clubs, the foam parties, Babylon or Eden parties, people's accommodation etc... plenty of choice of places to go

I’m considering a trip to Cap d’Adge this September. I’d be going for a fortnight and am unsure whether to book a fortnight in the naturist village or just a week, with another week elsewhere.

Recognising there an element of personal preference to any answer, is there enough going on in the naturist village in September to keep me interested for the full fortnight, or would a week be enough? How good is public transport to keep the naturist village as a base for day excursions? I’m happy walking 3-4 miles to a station, if there is one fairly nearby.

hi

Bit depends which weeks you got in mind, but first 3 would be ok. Buses are good to the station and to agde and you can walk into cap d'agde in 30 mins. 1 euro I think it cost. There should be a lot of people around and the beach will be busy f the weather is good

"Ok, hers a few to start with, everyone has their favourites..

Le Glamour.

Le Jul's.

Tantra

Those are the ones we often go to, but there are others if you are into BDSM or enjoy the free for all cinema type of club.

If it's your first time there, part of the fun is exploring...

Have fun

The 15th September is regarded as the end of season despite the wind down lasting another month.

Public transport isn’t great unless you want to see Beziers or Montpellier ( forget Agde )

To see out side the village the best bet would be to hire a car

I’m hoping to book a week for end of June early July, how are single men accepted there, as I’ve never been before I’m a bit intimidated by it.

We are happy to chat to single guys. Be open and pleasant to people and see the response. If couples don't respond in a positive way, move on, don't let it knock your confidence. Most couples are really friendly, some not.

Just watch throwing your towel an inch away from a couple on the beach, can be a bit annoying, at least ask.

If you are friendly, chatty and understand what a bar of soap is used for, you'll do fine. ????

Hi. The couple above have already answered your questions . There will be couples who want to avoid single guys while others will actively seek them out. Ladies wanting to take part in a gang bang will want quite a number of single guys .

If you go as a single guy just remember that the normal rules of behaviour apply .

As long as you accept that Cap is a very expensive place you have nothing to lose as a single guy and will probably have some great fun.

There will be clubs that you cannot access but then there any other clubs where couples go to because they want more than one man or the lady wants to be gang banged. Whilst there are also private parties organised these are probably quite difficult to get an invite to as a single man.

My advice would be not to rely on the advice if other people, simply go and experience the resort for itself .

At the worst you may go and not enjoy it and be £1000 down, however in the best case scenario you may have had sex with a number of different ladies every day.

Good luck with whatever you decide.

- any recommendations on the gang bang venues. I’m a definite fan of that.

- single clubs too

- how much would a single guy need for a weekend . I’ve already booked accommodation.

Hi. Most of the gang bangs tend to be informal. If you go to the mixed side of the Sauna you will usually find one or two ladies wanting to be gang banged. Have said that the opportunities in the Sauna have deceased substantially in the last year or two. You can also try Kumastra Sauna .

Entry to the saunas vary between 55 and 85 Euros . If you are only going for a weekend you might want to try Kumastra during the day and Tantra at night. That means you would need about 140 Euros for club entry and about 30 Euros for food . You could alternatively go the the one in Port Ambonne at 2 pm and stay to 1 am. It can get very boring hanging around in there but if you get the opportunity to fuck three or four ladies you forget the boredom. If you buy a day pass you can come and go as often as you please.

The saunas how much ??? Is that the French version of Rio’s or a lot more to it? This is worse than Ibiza club entry price. And I know it’s not compulsory to but we do love saunas.

Hi. I have only been to Rios once. The Saunas in Cap d Agde are vastly superior to Rios .

The rates which I quoted are for single men. For couples I think the entry free to Histoires of O is 45 Euros and Kumastra 40 Euros . A day pass to Histoires of O is a bit more expensive . Kumastra allow you to come and go as you please.

All the fun in Cap comes at a price unfortunately .

This year is going to be my third year in a row. I’ll say go for it. However, it can be expensive but for me it’s alway well worth the cost.

I’m not big into gang bangs as from what I’ve seen in one of the busier sauna some singles guys can be slightly pushy trying to get there money’s worth. That being said, it’s always fun to watch .

If you’re into gang bang, the sauna and Tantra is probably your best bet.

Is it better to just try and talk to couples and woman socially and get to know them? I don’t really want to be hurting my ankle from being shoved in a gang bang. Sounds like an ordeal than fun.

Hello. You have to make a judgement call on that one . Unless you are fluent in a foreign language opportunities for chat may be limited . Most couples entering the couples side of the Sauna will be seeking sex with their chosen company fromthe men available, if they just wanted to chat they would go to one of the bars .

The Sauna is a bit of a cattle market . Single guys will find that competition for action can be quite aggressive. I have literally been pushed aside by other men sprinting to the glory hole when a lady has entered it.

Once you are in the Sauna you can work out what approach works best for you. Some days in the Sauna will be fantastic, others absolutely awfull .
