Wednesday morning at about 11am we had a small earthquake measuring 4.9 on the Richter scale. I live about 15 miles from from the epicenter and felt about 3 or 4 seconds what can only be described as sitting on top of a spin dryer or a very large lorry passing.
Did anyone else in the area feel it or have you felt an earthquake at all.
Looking online later the last one in my area was 1759, so guess it really was a once in a lifetime experience where the earth moved for me. |

12 mls from the epi centre and we felt it.
A slight tremble in the building, but nothing alarming.
Not like once near Glasgow back in the late 70s when glasses etc really did rattle.
According to Sud Ouest there are an alarming number of earthquakes in this part of the SW !! |
