Funnily enough I've been to Zermatt many years ago. Went up the fernicular to the top of the gornegrat and had a snowball fight overlooking the matterhorn in June. Beautiful place. Sadly no skiing though. One day maybe. |

It's just over the border though  near Lake Lausanne. I don't suppose there is much call for a Switzerland forum room is there. Could be a good excuse to break out the Lederhosen and get Yodelling. |

Think you mean Lac de Geneve...and then it's a long haul up to Zermatt from Lausanne about 160km's...Better to meet people is not Zermatt but Grachen a small village on road to Zermatt...more German and Swiss swingers 
PS Swiss don't wear Lederhosen that's in Bayern - Swiss get kind of agro if u get them mixed up with Germans a hot tip |
