Went into the Cap last Saturday night with friends.
The Boudoir has turned itself into a club, 20 euros entry per couple. The owners told us that they’ve just done it because many of their customers wanted to stay later than 1am. They have had a couple of playrooms added.
The rest of Port Ambonne was dead apart from a very good Salsa band in the Palme Re bar.
We boped along until midnight when they started to pack up.
Then wandered down through Port Nature but the only thing open was L’Arche11 bar. Had a great time in there until closing at 1am. Some very raunchy pole dancing and even the missus strutted her stuff on the pole. Both of us got propositions from both sexes to go on somewhere but decided to call it a night.
Clubs, le Juls and Jeux de Main we’re opening but past experience has shown these places to be dead at this time of year. Many locals prefer to go to L’extasia or the Montpellier clubs during the off-season because they tend to be more lively.
On a sinister note, the patron of Tantra club has died after being shot in the head by two gangsters.
Some heavy stuff goes on in the Cap which will put visitors off the place! |

Apparently he had been threatened some time ago. Business can be tricky in Cap naturist village you have to be careful who you upset! Don't think it impacts on visitors but more gangland territory. Last year a couple were beaten up for upsetting a big player in Cap! |
