Cripes.. it's a big 'ol place!! Depends what you like!
Provence is stunning, hot and a bit pricey, Lyon is the alleged food capitol of France (other places may disagree!), the Loire is beautiful, Brittany is a lot like Cornwall (but we live there so.. one negative!) Rheims for the champagne, Alsace for a bit of Germanic flair.. ad infinitum!!
Just remember, France is closed for August!
