Wouldn't say it was exactly lively, but certainly things still going on. If the weather is good the beach will be busy at weekends and clubs will still be open.
If you've been to Cap in mid August you'll certainly see the difference, but to be honest we prefer June and September.
You can get a seat at the bar and there might even be a couple of metres between your towels on the couples beach...

"Hope it's still got some heat in Oct were there from the 6th for a week in the hotel. "
October! are the shops bars and restaurants even open there during the week, I’ve heard some of the clubs are open weekends.
There must be some experts on here to advise.! |

It's not at its best - but would suggest a great time to explore the area outside of the village! |

We are going in mid September and to be honest that suits us as we are quite new to Cap. We went in late April and it was great. The bars were lively at the weekends but far from packed, we had some excellent nights. So we are hoping for more of the same in 2 months. |

We are staying in Port Nature from 16th to 26th September. This will be our 3rd year in a row at about this time I'm September. Yes it is obviously quieter than peak season but plenty of fun to be had and it suits us to a tee. |

At least you can get a seat in the Pilouterie Bar and there is usually plenty of action available in the Sauna.

Les, we went into the pool area and paid not much less than Kamasutra pool, Kamasutra is much better. Suppose if you just sit outside Bodega bar then it's free, see you in September. Liz and Paul. |

In Cap from 31 August for 10 days. Been for the past 4 years and we are definitely going to try Kamasutra for the first time.
Any tips for when we are there? Best time to go and do they provide towels or is it take your own? |

September is one of our favourite months, its a bit quieter but a lot around especially weekends, can even see the beach on a good day lol.
July and august are a complete no no for us just not comfortable with crowds everywhere

You might need to check if it is open in September. I cannot remember when they close for the season. |

If kama sutra is the pool/sauna in Port Nature then it is usually open in September as our apartment over looks it. I think it has reduced hours though as never seems busy (from the outside looking in to the pool). |

the owner of the bodega bar took over the whole place. the sunbeds were free untill some xxx!! people stayed on them without buying a drink. some even left old sunglasses and manky old towels to keep the beds while they went back to their appartments . so now its 5 euros for a sunbed and a beer is 2.50 euros. karmasutra is 30 euros for 2 people plus the drinks are eye wateringly expensive.karma sutra pool is much bigger as long as you like swimming through hundreds of dead flies. |

Bodega bar it is then, especially when it gets a bit breezy on the beach. See you all in September. Do you all fancy another meet up in Bodega Bar one night

"Hello everyone! We arrive tomorrow; what’s the weather like, is it still warm in the evening?"
Still high 20's during the day, now bit cooler in the evenings, but unless you have a very long walk after you leave the club/bar you won't need a fleece..!!

Heading to the Cap for the first time 7-9 September, can't wait! Nice apartment in Port Nature overlooking the Waiki pool booked. Not sure what to expect as a single, non-French speaking, male though! Time to do some research, but any guidance appreciated! |

Just be yourself and chat to people.
Maybe start in the old Jonnys bar and move on to Bodega bar.
First visit, you will love it and book straight away for a longer stint next year.
Have fun. |

We are thinking of a quick jaunt mid Sep for the weekend starting 20th September. Ryanair flights from Luton are ridiculously cheap. If you go Wed to Wed that week they are as low as £4.99 per person FFS! Apartments start to go to low season rates but weather is still very acceptable 20's and bars and clubs are still busy enough for play- why wouldn't you? |

I have to say the sauna last night was great. Despite a lot of single men (including me!) I didn’t find it hard to get involved in the action with a number of couples. It was such fun I might go again tonight! |

We arrived this afternoon.
It might be quieter than August but we still had to queue for a table in Ghymnos.
It’s certainly busier than early June and busier than this time last year.
All to do with the nice weather no doubt. |

"Is there much Action there ?
" I am afraid that the season is virtually finished now. The supermarkets are clearing out their stock and preparing to close. The whether at the weekend meant that there were very few visitors. Two days of wind and rain. |

Thats what made it! Weather meant lots of people channeled into the sauna and bars and clubs. We met four English couples as well as the locals. Didn't stop playing from Friday afternoon to Monday morning! Totally knackered now. Bars and clubs were all still open. You could get decent seats in the restaurants. We go four/five times a year from May to September and find all times are different but depends on what you want. September is definitely a lot less frenetic and a lot less posey with less tourists and more players!!! |

Exciting !

The beach has been really active the last 4 days. Many clubs closed but plenty of people here and the weather has been fantastic!. Was only going to spend a week but booked another 9 days extension. What can I say I'm a glutton for "Pleasure"! |

Jeux de Mains is the only club open that I saw and it will probably be busy Saturday night. Histories D'O was really crowded last night. Melrose, Le Look, Bagatelle were all packed. Tantra, Glamour, and Kumatra? are all closed for the season. |

Hi, we are stopping by in cap for a couple of days on our way to Portugal. We were thinking 15th 16th if October, it is mid week. Will anything be open? Will there be people there?
Any help would be great. |

Very little will be open and very few people will be there mid week.
I even think the sauna will have switched to weekends only by now.
Also the weather forecast is a bit iffy for those days.
If you have never been before and just want a quick look around then by all means stop by for an hour or two. But for anything else better to just drive on past. |

2x2 will be open and maybe the coffee shop near-by, a bar or two but little else during the week. We had some nice fun last year at that time but stayed in the spa warm and cosy in the pool and steam area with a nice French couple. Mr |

We left Le Cap a couple of days ago and the hatches are battened down for winter.
Mid week Palm Re or Pilou alternate in the evenings. Bodega has been shut in the evening but open during the day.
Not really many visitors around but you never know who you might bump into in the sauna.

Just think of Blackpool on a wild wet day in January, you should have better weather, but the same result, desolate, unless you are going on a weekend, speak French then you will probably have fun! |

Merci pour votre reponse, ma francais ce n’est pas bien, mais c’est d’accord.
That was from gcse so no idea why I have said. Probably best for us to head straight past, shame as we were there early season and it was ok, few around.
Thanks |
