Cap D'Adge in September?

I've been twice before, both times at the end of June/early July but I'm thinking of going in September - either the first, second or third week(end) and I'm wondering what it will be like compared to end of June.

Any insight (not speculation) greatly appreciated.

Algarve Portugal

I have also been there in the first two weeks in Sept, and may be there in these weeks this year. Even though it gets a little quieter and the weather more variable sometimes, I have always found plenty to enjoy. Not sure about the Third week as I have never been there that late.

Costa Blanca Spain...

We always go for our main holiday there late June early July.

The last couple of years we have also popped in for a couple of days in September on our way down to Spain.

Last year we were there on the 6th and 7th and the place was much quieter. There was still a bit going on but nothing like the buzz in July.

A few years ago we had a full week there in late September. By then the place was really winding down into slumber mode. Quite a few places had already closed and most of the others were preparing to do so.

Thanks, that's helpful. Even though places were closing or closed...were there many people there still? Do you think it could still be fun?

It depends who is there at the same time! If you happen to find some people who you "click" with then you could have a great time - but most people there at that time are likely to be French. Vous parlez francais?

September is pretty weather dependant for instance last year in the second half of the month it was pretty good but while places were shutting there were certainly more people about than there are now.

Last year and the year before there still enough people, but that was early in the month. However not as busy as late June/July.

When we were there later in the month it was pretty thin and we would never go that late again.

Hello. I usually go there for five weeks . A week in each month.

My September week is usually the third week. I actually prefer Cap when it is quiet.

If it is sex you are after there are only so many you can fuck and the choice is still there towards the end of September.

We have been going for 15 years last week of June first few days of July, and the first week of September for the last 5 years. The first week of September can be as much fun as June ( July and August are more family orientated) we have been there third weekend of September once- v quiet and alot shut down, weather also less dependable.

The season in cap is getting shorter.

This may be due to the cost and value for money.

Or first trip in 2014 was 14 sept to 25 and the bars were open and plenty of people about. last year though everything shut down the start of the third week .

we have just returned from our may trip and it was very poor numbers wise.I dont think this is all due to the weather as most book a trip in advance.

we are there untill the 19th sept again this year

and hope it is still busy.

This has been the worst May weather wise in 5yrs! If the weather is good then you get more French coming so it's busier. International travellers tend to come June, July & Aug. Sept can be lovely weather wise and early October too but no guarantees. The village is busy most weekends out of season too - but all French.

We are back 8 - 18 September, never been this late in the season before but if you don't try you'll never know.
