Bezier is the closest. Then Montpellier, Nines, Perpignan, Carcassonne, Toulouse, Rodez, Marseille & Gerona ( Spain).Ryanair and Easy Jet fly as well as Air France but not to everyone. It's a mix. Try skyscanner. |

"Gatwick to Luton by train then get the 6.30 am flight with Ryanair and have another full day in Cap!" I have travelled on that flight on many occasions . The only problem is that you probably have to get up at 2 am to catch it so whilst in theory you have a full day in Cap you are probably tired for the rest of the day. The other option is 9 30 am from Stansted which avoids such am early start. The ISIS hotel at Luton airport is not too expensive and allows you to walk to the airport . If flying from Luton you can then have a reasonable nights sleep.

"Ryanair to Beziers from Stanstead, Manchester, Edinburgh, Bristol and maybe another one or two."
Cheers for the info, good to know that we can fly from Edinburgh.
Does anyone know of any reasonably priced accommodation? |

In the normal understanding of "reasonable" there is nothing inside the village that would fall into that category.
As an example, we let a couple of properties in Spain and a large fully equipped (and we mean fully) 3 bedroom townhouse that sleeps 6 would cost 500€ per week in high season.
In Cap d'Agde we pay 1500€ for 2 weeks in mid season for a very small apartment with nothing like the facilities we would expect anywhere else.
Cap is Cap and because of its uniqueness it gets away with murder.
Also for this year it would be a case of finding something, anything, rather than price. There will be very little left now. |

For next year start looking in December/January and I wouldn't leave the booking any later than February or early March at a pinch.

If you want a swinger holiday why are you thinking about staying several miles away in Beziers then relying on public transport?
From Beziers centre into the village it is two buses in (maybe three depending on exactly where your accommodation is located) and if you want to sample the nightlife, an expensive and difficult to get taxi back. Car hire would be by far your better option.
If swinging is secondary and you are wanting to visit and explore the region as well then you should also think about car hire. Trying to do it without will be difficult and time consuming.

"We were offered accommodation from a guy we know on here free of charge and on a very limited budget "
Sounds good. I would still take a look at car hire though. It could work out cheaper than lots of buses and taxi's, and a lot more convenient. |

Beziers is only a 20min taxi ride away from the village (35euro), however it means flying from Luton or Stansted. I usually fly to Montpellier from Gatwick, then you can get a bus to the train station and its only about half an hour by train to Agde(10euro). But then you still need a taxi to the village (25euro) |
