Cap d’Agde, France |
Had our Sunday walk today from Marseillan Plage to the Cap village.
Along the entire Cap beach are the washed up remains of millions of mussels plus what looks like the rotting carcass of a whale.
The place stinks!
The winter storms have changed the whole shape of the beach, many will be disappointed if they don't get it cleaned up in time for the holiday season. |

When I was there at Easter I noticed that most of the small low level fences had been blown down or washed away in the storms. It seemed strange looking at the dunes with no greenery .. |

We must have passed you on the way...
It was a horrendous smell, still lingering in our nostrils now after a bottle or two of rosé...!!
But the weather was fantastic and we were still sat by the pool around 7pm tonight.
Summer's coming...

Hopefully the horrid weather is over and they get the beach cleaned up over the next couple of weeks. We hardly use the beach can't stand the sand everywhere! |
