We have been to the Cap a few times, usually in June but our last visit was timed to coincide with the Bike Week in late September.
We had a great holiday but almost everything was closed or closing. We had expected this but as we were there for the bikes it didn't detract much....it was a wee bit of a ghost town though.
This year we had hoped to go in June in our motorhome but real life has got in the way and our only opportunity will be mid to late April. Does anyone know whether it is worth the effort and expense or will we be repeating our 'ghost town' experience? |

Hello . I usually go to Cap about 6 times a year ( Easter and the last week of each monh from May to September )
In some ways I prefer the quietier months as service etc is better and the bars are less packed . This year I spent two weeks in Cap at Easter . As long as some action is available in the Sauna I am not too worried about how busy the rest of the resort is .
If you found September to be quiet , you will find April to be as quiet ( and probably quietier ) . Not all bars or clubs will be open .
This year Easter is early ( Sunday April 1 st ) and I would expect this to be the busiest week in April .
If you want a packed resort , April is probably not the month to go . |

I cant understand why it was quiet on bikers week whioch is at end of august into september, nothing closes until the second week.
Easter is April the first next year so everything should be open, the clubs maybe only open weekends and obviously too cold for mousee parties etc |

We reckon April is quieter than September but things will be starting to pick up.
It will still be a ghost town during the week. You can still have fun though if you are lucky.

Hmm, you are absolutely right. This had us completely baffled as we did go on bike week and at the same time everything was closing. Both of us had the same impression and could only conclude that we were conflating two entirely different visits.
Anyway, it remains that it was very quiet in late September, and even though it was good fun (saunas still open)we would rather it was a wee bit busier |

We were there the same week and everything was open and we had a geat time as usual. We did attend the last foam party at Glams but that was the last day and all bikers had gone by then. You sure you were in the same place? |
