Cap d'Adge in October

Hello. I will arrive at the Cap today and was wondering if anyone could give me some advice on either a good camp site as well as places to meet and socialise with like minded people.
Any help would be much appreciated.

The camp site in the village is called Rene Oltra. However not sure if it is still open now.
As for like minded people I think you will struggle at this time of year. Most bars will be closed and only some of the clubs will open (mostly for locals) at the weekend.
It is a very short season at Cap and there isn't much after mid September |

As for bars would you remember the name of one or two that might be worth checking out - or maybe a general area where it would be likely to bump into someone? |

You will find October weekdays very quiet . ( weekends should be busier ) . When I went in October weekdays were dead . Polouterie and Maxines ( both are bars in the Port Ambonne Commercial ) should be open both weekdays and weekends . The Sauna is also open all year round ( however from October onwards it is open from 2pm to 1 am but closed from 7pm to 9pm ) . This means that if you want to go to both sessions you will have to buy a day pass ( 75 Euros ) or 50 Euros for one session .
On Sundays during the winter it closes at 9 pm so there is only one session .
Joys restaurant is also worth a punt . They organise soiree evenings and also have a play area . However you would need to be able to speak French . you should be able to find details or their soiree nights on facebook . |

Hi. If the mix is right in the Sauna it does not take it to be too busy to have a great time . I would also give Joys soiree Eve ings a go. You will have good food and music plus the chance of sex in the play area if you strike lucky . Maxines has great music and an excellent menu.
In quiet times you can have fun but you have to be prepared to adopt a different strategy to when it is busy and accept the Sauna entry costs.
Have a great holiday . Note that there is also a sauna in Agde town and if I was you I would join one of the French swinging sites. |

Hi. It is a 40 minute bus journey to Agde town. The number 4 leaves just outside the gate and only costs 1Euro. The river there is quite picturesque . |

Hi. Last time I ate at Joys most days . I was very very impressed with the menu and had one of the best steaks I have ever eaten there . It must be good as some of the staff from. Peng Travel regularly use it . |

Also I've been to Adge town yesterday and it is indeed a lovely place.
