Pussy Galore from N. Ireland will be going next year ( probably June ) and will be organising a few wine and cheese evenings in Port Soleil . If anyone remembers Chris from previous visits she would love to hear from them. Her last visit was five years ago and she was there for twelve consecutive years with her husband ( sadly he is now deceased ). You may remember her from previous wine and cheese evenings which she organised. Hopefully this might jog a few memories. |

. Hello . Only partly true . A well organised agency will be prepared to take bookings up to a year in advance . As the standard of accommodation varies widely ( as does the flexibility of agencies to adjust to customers needs ) some renters ( once they find both good quality accommodation and supporting agent ) will book up to a year in advance . The best quality accommodation tends to be booked a long way in advance .
If booking accommodation ask to see recent photographs and maybe check the reviews on one of the booking sites . Any good agent should be able to refer you back to their cumulative score . If the score is nine and above you should be staying in excellent accommodation .
When booking make absolutely certain that the accommodation is inside the village ( assuming that this is where you want to stay ) . It is not unknown for agents to be vague ( if their accommodation is outside the village ) in order to attract a premium rate .
Accommodation inside the village will be in one of the following areas . Heliopolis, Port Ambonne , Port Nature , Port Soleil , Port Venus or the Campsite . |

The best time to go will depend on an individuals personal preferences ( and possibly budget as the peak seaon is the most expensive ) . If you are happy to pay premium prices and want the resort to be packed to capacity August would be the time to go .
I have always found the third week in Sepyember to be great ( at least you can get a seat in the bars ) .
Any time in Cap is What you make of it. Go off peak and you can spend the money that you save on accommodation in the Sauna instead .
With reference to the foam party I think it is couples only so you might have difficulty gaining admission .
For group fun ( unless you know party organisers ) you simply pay the relevant entry fee ( 50 Euro ) to the appropiate club ( Sauna Hamman , Tanta , Jeux des Mains etc ) . Another option is the adult cinema ( 15euro ) or the bondage club ( 80 euro ) .
All the fun in Cap comes at a price .
You might also strike lucky by advertising in one of the local publications . Again not a cheap optinn ( 130 Euro for a week ) but good value if it helps hook up with those whom you are seeking . To make full use of this option you will need to speak / understand some French |

1. You will probably need to book flights from Manchester to Beziers ( Ryanair ) and then taxi or two buses from the airport to the Naturist village .
2. Accommodation is expensive . you will need to allow between 600 Euros ( very basic )and up to 1200 Euros per week for better quality accommodation ( peak season is July and August . In certain cases you can pay up to 2000 Euros per week ( peak season large chalet ) . For the camp site it is about 40 Euro per night per pitch . You will need to bring your own motorhome / tent / caravan ( or rent one )
3 . There are very few hotels ( most accommodation is either on the campsite or apartments ) . One hotel does a highly competitive package at the beginning and end of the season. Hotel Ozz is £350 per night in the peak season excluding breakfast . ( this is after a £50 per night discount )
4. To gain entry to the village you will need to purchase gate passes ( it is probably best to carry these on you at all times in case you are stopped as part of a security check )
5. Clubs etc are all within walking distance of each other so there i no need to use taxis in the rsort
6. When booking accommodation check that the accommodation which you book is actually inside the village ( there is no point in paying premium rates for accommodation which may be outside the village . Clarify with the agent which area it is in . ( these will be Port Nature , Port Venus , Port Ambonne , Port Soleil or Heliopolis ) . If renting privately you may wish to check that the agent is registered with the tourist authority ( to pay tourist tax ) and also registered for Loi Alur and Loi Digital ) . On a simplistic basis this means that they are declaring the rents for income tax and that the electrics in the apartment are safe .
A small apartment will be 15 sq metres ( the bed being fold down ) whereas one around 28 sq metre will probably have a separate bedroom . Before booking ask to see up to date pictures of the apartment |
