Beziers Airport taxi pick up

We used the services of a British couple to collect & drop off when we were last in Cap but they seemed to have dropped off the radar therefore can anyone recommend a reliable taxi service?

Ever considered the bus?

we have caught it 10 times now never failed and very cheap The Buses meets the incoming flight sand takes you to Agde station then bus route4 takes you to the gates of the naturist centre all for euros 2.60 Air conditioned and with luggage racks too.

Hi we use A2A taxis they are not the cheapest but are reliable and very friendly. Ask for Nellie to collect you she is lovely and georgeus lol.

When you arrive at the airport go to the reception where you will find a "timetable" which fits nicely in your wallet /purse. The last page lists 16 taxi services with contact numbers -sorted!

Only back from cap D'adge. Since it was my first time there, I took a taxi right outside the airport cost me around 30 euro (not cheap) but probably save me allot of hassle.

We have never seen a taxi just waiting around. We have always had to book. We contact the agency we book through and they book them for us. You will need to speak French if you book a local taxi.

Thanks for your responses everyone..when we first arrived as newbies a few years back we assumed there'd be a taxi rank alas there was nothing there so since then we preferred the safety first route and get to the pool ASAP by a cab waiting with no time to waste lol ..good to get an idea of the charges so thanks for the advice all x

Not booked in advance, I just walk out of a the airport and there was three taxi on the taxi ranK. I must have been lucky to get one

If you have lots of money the easy way is to pay for convenience.

Even if we had lots of money at nearly 6x the price we would use the bus service .

we have never seen many taxis for hire lots of people get picked up by friends /relatives.or pre booked taxis.

So best to book one .

1. Time it takes from the airport to Agde Station?

2. Time from the station to the village - appreciate it depends on how many stops etc but an average would help?

3. Waiting time at the station too please?

It will give some idea time needed to allow for traveling.

The bus to station about 20 minutes

The wait around 20 mins very roughly

The next bit I've not done prob about another 20 mins.

I wouldn't bother with taxi unless you have alot of luggage or there are 4 or more of you. I've sent you a private message about your dates.

The wait at the station can be up to an hour in the summer and two hours in the winter. The no 4 bus is not a very regular service.

we catch everytime we go to cap (12 times now and never failed) and it is never more than 45 mins waitin Agde.

The bus from the airport meets incoming flights.(everytime) Roughly 1/2 each journey there is a bar across the road from agde station so if there is a wait just sit and chill and have a drink on the 27 euros you save !!!

the busses are not irregular look up cap bus and the timetable is online w for those who can read.

It all depends if you fear using Busses if you have never used one then you probably wont with Cap Bus.

Its a bit like airoplanes you get on a plane at a pre arranged time and it takes you where you want to go.

why not support the local economy enjoy the ride .

P.S. promoting private business is not wrong but be honest about it.

25 mins to Agde station.

25 MINS to gates of naturist centre including stops.

wait can be 45 ish mins or less .

but the wait could be sitting at the bar watching the world go by with a drink on money saved .

anyway if you are at all computer literate its not rocket science to look up timetables of Cap Bus there is only 4 routes .Its not exactly London Somehow methinks you already know as you are experienced in the workings of Cap D'AGDE....I'm just informing people that there is another way other than promoting couples who you may or not know who have a transfer bussiness.

Thank you information was for someone else whose using the bus. Having never done it had no idea of timings, so unable to comment.

If your flight arrives after 18 30 there is no point in getting a bus as you will end up stranded in Agde and have to get a taxi anyway . The timetable is as below . The top line is departures from Agde Station , the bottom line from village naturiste .
