Bristol

Hi there

After plenty of umming and ahhing we have decided we want to come and stay IN the Cap d'Agde naturist village ... hopefully from 7th to 14th Sept . So that's next Weds!

The place is much busier than we expected! Can anyone please recommend a site/person that may be able to help us with last minute accommodation in the village?

Failing that, can you please tell us the best places to stay outside the village to have easy and convenient access day and night?

Many thanks

S&A. x

A Google search will give you all the agents. Alternatively try airbnb, booking.com, trip advisor etc. However be aware the quality of accommodation varies considerably.

Off the village you will save money - but you will need transport to and from the village - no taxi ranks in the village!

Car rental in France costs more than in UK - so book in UK for a better deal.

There is an older couple who rent out an apartment privately for very reasonable rates. We have stayed there and it is fine. Their email is jim.marie@wanadoo.fr

Well things are changing here in Cap d'Agde - this year the Marie has sent the "tourist tax" police out to check if owners are registered & paying tourist tax. Whilst it is only 1.30€ pppn - over a season it mounts up - 900€ for us! Those who are not registered will be fined apparently. For those who pay it - it is nice to see a "level playing field".
