"A few members have contacted me for advice on Cap d Agde . Some of this information is a repeat of previous posts .
Getting there .
By air , a flight to Beziers ( Ryanair ) and then either a taxi or two bus journies to the village . Other options include flying via EasyJet to Montpelier and then a train journey to Agde . This option however will necessitate one bus journey , another by tram , and in addition a visit to the train station in order to purchase a ticket .
If driving you will need to purchase a pass in order to take your vehicle into the village . For high vehicles such as motorhomes , note that there are height restictions on entering certain car parks near the gate . Depending on where you manage to park prior to purchasing your ticket , it may be preferable to double back to the approach roundabout and have a straight run to the entrance gate rather that attempt to cut across some tightly spaced posts at the entrance gate .
All visitors need to purchase an entry pass at the gate . You are also asked to provide proof of where you are staying .
If entering via taxi , you may be able to avoid purchasing an entrance pass and go straight through . However this means that you will not be able to re enter should you decide to leave .
Accommodation
A wide variety is available , both inside and outside the gate . Staying outside the gate is a lot cheaper , but you will miss out on the convenience factor for going to the beach and clubs etc .
A good agent should be able to arrange accommodation inside or outside the gate . Standard of accommodation is very variable ranging from the grotty to the luxurious .
Some agents are flexible with regards to booking dates , others insist that you book from a Saturday to a Saturday . Ask the agent for recent pictures of the accommodation before you book . Really good agents will also provide a welcome pack which means that your fridge will be stocked with a small supply of beer , wine and milk before you arrive ( in addition to supplying tea and coffee ) . The avoids the necessity to immediately rush to the shops . Good agents may also arrange the purchase of your gate card in advance . During very busy periods you can expect to queue up to an hourin order to purchase a pass , especially if you arrive on a Saturday in the peak season.
Layout
Once there , you will find that the area is compact and everything is easy to find . There are supermarkets in both the Port Ambonne Commercial Centre and Helios . It should be noted that these supermarkets are expensive and if travelling by car , it is worth stocking up at Lidi first . The butchers in both of these shopping centres sell a good selection of pre cooked foods if you prefer to eat in as opposed to eating out .
If going to the beach , the shops sell loungers , shades and spikes for holding the holders in .
There are a number of excellent bars for people watching incluing 1664 in Helios and Palmerie in Port Ambonne . Expect to pay about 3.80 Euros for a coffee or 500 ml of beer .
You have a choice of about ten clubs , two sauna ( sex ) clubs , an adult theatre , a specialised bondage club and an adult theatre .
Of the Sauna Clubs , Sauna Hamman ( Histoires of O ) is probably the best known . Entry for a couple is 35 Euros or 50 Euros for a day pass which allows re enty .
One side of this club is couples only , the other mixed . Facilities include a glory hole , a cage , an area where you can be tied to a wall , four private play rooms , two large public play area , a sauna and a stream room .
A wide variety of activities take place on the mixed side ranging from one on one sex to women who are there with the sole intention of being gang banged . You should note that some of the men can be very pushey in this club , so you will need to have a plan in place to handle them . Condoms ae not always in ready supply , so it is probably best to purchase a little armband and bring your owm . Soft drinks are free . Opening hours are 2 pm to 1 am .
The other Sauna is Kumastra ( spelling ? ) which is near Tantra . It is open from mid day and you can purchase a ticket to use both the sex club ( Sauna ) and pool . They allow you to leave and re enter .
The sex club area is bright and airey compared to the the one in Port Ambonne . Being allowed to use the outdoor pool is also an advantage .
However , the facilities are less than Sauna Hamman . They include a pool and a steam room . There are no private rooms, so any sex has to be in public . The owners keep the place very clean , wipe the surfaces down regularly and condoms are always in plentifull supply .
The adult cinema in Port Ambonne is more gang bang territory . With the right mix, it is possible to have a good evening in there . It is open from 10 pm to 1 am . Condoms are not supplied so remember to bring your own .
There are variety of night clubs . Those that offer free entry to couples before a certain time will have very expensive drinks .
To enter the bondage club , you will need to be appropriately dressed . I attended dressed in black pvc and some chains . That was fine , but they insisted that I wore a pair of their black shoes .
To obtain enty to most clubs , you must be wearing a shirt with a collar ( no t shirts )
There are both sex clubs and a sauna in Agde itself .
Other options for entertainment include one to one meets . Some of these can be arranged in advance by putting an advert in La Une , the free flysheet which is distributed within the resort . You will however find that most people who reply are Frenh and you will need to be able to communicate in French in order to arrange your meet .
Other members organise patio socials or soiree evenings which are usefull for meeting other people . You can probably gauge how well these are organised by contacting members who have attended previously .It is possible to have an excellent evening for the cost of a bottle of wine , a lot less than a club entry fee .
There are a wide variety of restaurants in which to eat . You will come across most of these during your walk of the centre .
A thirty minute walk takes you to the centre of Cap D Agde where everyting is a lot cheaper . You can also get bus number 4 and get off at the museum .
For the swingers beach find the camp site and once at the end , turn left and keep walking . Once you are beyond the life guards hut , you are there . It will soon be obvious as to whether you are in the right place . You will see women wanking their partners cock .
Remember not to leave anything unattended on the beach ( or in clubs )
Thieves operate in both of these areas .
