If you are a BT customer you can connect via the FON service which is pretty widely available in The Quarter. Just add BT/ in front of normal username.
Works a treat. |

We went to, think it's called 1664 bar, within the Heliopolis area. Just buy a drink and ask for the password.
Always worked a treat for us, Afternoon or early evening beer and fab updates. Have fun.

Hi, for some work, I've successfully used the WiFi provided by http://www.naturistenzentrum.de/. It's a little expensive and, depending on your location, coverage can be patchy - see diagram on their site. But, depending on your requirements, you could move to an area of better reception if that in your apartment wasn't consistent enough.
I've also successfully used the WiFi provided by some of the bars/cafes - 1664, as mentioned above, and Baskins. Baskins may also still have their own hooked-up PCs available for hire by the hour.
I don't know if it's still available, but there was also public WiFi provided by France Telecom or some other major company for which one could purchase access cards for different numbers of days in some of the shops in the village (I bought mine in the newsagents in the tunnel at the beach end of Port Nature).
It's all a bit patchy though, but one can get by!
I hope that helps. |
