"is there any particular part of the beach to go to "
From wherever you are in the village, go to the waters edge, head east until you get level with the lifeguards building. From there you will notice that the beach gets a lot more crowded. You've found it. |

I may be dropping in around the 26th for a few days. Would probably stay at the Oltra campsite, I think that is in the village part, but am still trying to work out if you have to pay to get into the village on top of the campsite cost, if so it might be better to get a room. |

Firstly the Oltra campsite is in the village. You have to pay for a village pass even if you have accommodation inside. However there is a big price difference between those who are staying inside and visitors from outside.
You will have to get one from the village office which is next to the main gate before entering. Make sure you have the paperwork for your accommodation (booking confirmation Etc.) with you. |

Thanks for that, most appreciated. I hadn't planned on needing to book in advance for the campsite in June, especially as my trip is pretty fluid & I don't know what dates, if any, I'll make it to there. Any idea if the Oltra campsite can be booked upon arriving at the village office?

Yes no problem in June. We have just turned up before in june. You just have to get the pass for the front gate then go in and go to the campsite to book that and then with the booking papers go back to the front gate to validate the length of your stay and there is no rush to do this. |
