"Going to France next year and want to go to the best nudist beaches and resorts I can to get a naked summer. Any recommendations?"
Based on our experiences over the past few years here's a few to be going on with that we have been to.
Let's start with our favorite which is Serignan Plage on the Med coast. Naturist camp site atatched to Clos de Ferrand site. Nude beach just outside, with the posibility of visiting Cap D'Agde a few miles away.
Next we have Arnaoutchot on the Atlantic coast south of Bordeaux. Naturist site throughout, own huge, and we mean HUGE, beach with private access and some areas just back of the beach worth exploring for fun as sex on the beach is not encouraged.
Next we have Le Colombier in the Vendee. This is an inland site but it is quite big, heated pool, bar/cafe and many woodland walks worth exploring.
Next is Petit Dauphin at Les Mathes. Again a naturist site, covered pool bar/cafe/restaurant. The main attraction are the two nearby beaches which you will have to drive to, or cycle. Thes are Plage de la Bouverie. This is also massive. A walk from the car park past the lifeguard station and over the dune (there is a planked board walk from Mid May) and turn right.The further you walk the quieter it gets, as all the families tend to stay near the boardwalk. The other beach is at Plage de la Lede, just south of La Palmyre. Not a big beach but well signed, there's a big carpark within a couple of minutes walk but it can get crowded at weekends. The big attraction though is the action to be found in the trees at the back of the beach. Just about every taste/kink.
Lastly there is a naturist beach near to Merville-Franceville on the channel coast on the opposite side of the river Orne from Ouistreham feerry port. Known as Plage de la Redoubt, it's a defined area in the dunes with a flag at each corner, but it is patrolled by a man wearing only an orange baseball cap. He seems to be in charge of policing the area, so no hank-panky takes place whilst he is there. But he goes home at the end of the day at about 5.00pm. Again a big carpark within easy walking distance or there is a footpath come cycle path from the middle of town.

Second vote for leucate.
Superb naturist beach - best we’ve ever used.
We rented there for years until the lack of nightlife finally made us stop going. |

There's plenty on the Mediterranean coast starting from the Spanish border all the way up to le cap dagde. I think that I've been to six now (some of them are just at the end of natural beaches and not signed). With regards which is the best, that's entirely subjective. I know my favourite but it's not marked on any map. |
