When does Cap d'Agde begin to shut?

Hi all.

I am looking to go to Cap for the first time with a friend and any advice is welcome.

We are flexible on dates but probably looking for the first week or so in September. Is that too late?

Also, we want to be in the heart of the busiest area or naturist village.....any accommodation tips? The budget is fluid.

Watching this. We were booked to go in June 2020 but lockdown killed the holiday and we have ventured elsewhere since.

Plenty of historic information throughout the forum but any up to date tips would be appreciated.

As above, plenty of accommodation advice on the France page.

First week in September should be great weather wise, still very hot and all facilities open.

It starts getting quiet from September on, however weather is beautiful, no queues. I wouldn't go any later than the first week of September. I think it shuts at the end of Sept.

But don’t forget first week of September is bike week so will be all of Cap will be full of bikers - if that’s your sort of thing it’s quite a spectacle.
