We are looking to book a week or so at Cap probably in 2025 (already got enough holidays booked for 2024). We are just a little confused on when or where is best to book, From what we've seen end May, June and September are quiet, some say stay outside the village and others say best staying inside.
As newbies to Cap what accommodation would you recommend and when? We don't mind if it's a little quieter as long as places are open.
If staying outside the village is it a pain having to travel to and pay to get in everyday?
This is one place we've looked at, Residence Heliopolis,1 Boulevard des Matelots, Naturist Village , 34300.

There are quite a few threads on this subject so best to do a search and you’ll find plenty of differing opinions..!!
Basically, staying inside the village will cost you twice as much as staying outside.
You will enjoy the whole experience of Cap by staying inside. Leave the club/party when you like without thinking about transport.
Outside, you have to pay for access on a weekly or daily basis which isn’t that expensive but is a faff as late night taxis don’t exist.
Cheap accommodation inside can be extremely basic.
Our advice is to bite the bullet and stay inside.
Best value will be a cabin or mobile home on the Oltra campsite. Clean and well run and central to beach and nightlife.
Hope you find what you’re looking for.

Stay inside. It is just so much more convenient to go back to your room for a bit of a nap after sex on the beach, then go to the foam party, then back to your room and out for a bite and a night of swapping at the spa. |

The first time we went it was at the end of May. It was quiet (a few places open on the weekend though), and offered just enough for us to have a pleasant and enjoyable time. We stayed at Babylone, which was a lovely experience.
As I’m not a big fan of the crowds, we’ll probably never experience the village in July or August. But we have friends who absolutely love that time of year with all the various daily parties. They usually stay in rented private apartments. |
