Most of the apartment blocks have a key entry system, some doors are open during the day till the early evening, some locked all day, and require "entry fob" held by apartment occupant with your key to gain entry.
You will be able to gain entry to your apartment whatever the time, but visitors would have to be met at the door! Hope this answers your question.
