Whats the easiest and most cost effective way to get from Montpellier airport to Cap?

Thank you in advance xx

Carlow

I would think the train to Agde and then the bus from Agde station to the naturist village would be your best option.

somewhere

Well Uber is the easiest but it cost around 100 euros each way last year from the naturist village to the centre of Montpellier.

Cap d’Agde, France

Although you can travel from the airport to the Cap very cheaply on public transport it isn't so straight forward.

The simple bit is to catch a train from Gare St Roche in the centre of Montpellier to Gare d'Agde.

Right outside Agde Station is a bus stop and you catch the No. 4 bus which will drop you outside the Naturist village

The difficult bit is to get from the Airport to Gare St Roche and although you have two public transport options we would recommend getting a taxi.

If you still want to keep it cheap then there is a bus from the airport which terminates at Place de Europe in Montpellier, from here you have to walk to the station,(one mile, 20 minutes) or take another tram.

The other option is to take a tram which will drop you directly outside the rail station, however the tram is situated at Parc Expo which is a 30 minute walk from the airport terminal (2.5km)

Getting from the airport to the train station is a bit of nightmare so bite the bullet and take a taxi.

Lucianpound are spot on, we did the route they have suggested, on the way to Agde we did the bus and the tram in Montpeller and it was fine, but on the way back the train from Agde left late and we took a taxi from the station to the airport to releive any possible stress, it all depends on what time you have.
