We will be driving from Caen to Cap d'Agde via the west coast on May 4th We intend to drive round about 6 hours , then take a break for the night, so probably around Bordeaux area'ish.
It would make the trip a little more interesting if any fabbers in this area would like to meet for a glass of wine or two... Please let us know so we can start planning the route. |

We regularly make this journey (occasionally Cherbourg instead of Caen)
We always take the A75 route stopping over in Bourges although in the summer a fun half-way-house would be Camping libertin la Roseraie.
Incidentally, despite the A75 being a free motorway the total tolls last September for Caen-Cap came to 71 euros plus 130 for petrol. |
