We're at La Diamant Noir from 13th - 17th July. Will anyone else be there at the same time?

If you do a forum Search for "black diamond" you should find a detailed review by, I think, Lucian Pound.

Cap d’Agde, France

Just reposting our review from early July 2020 of this campsite

,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

Just back from 3 days camping at the

'Camping Libertin Le Diamant Noir' in the Dordogne and here are a few thoughts.

The campsite is situated in beautiful woodland about 2km east of Sainte-Alvère and 15km west of Le Bugue where there is a Hyper Intermarché.

The general region is stunningly beautiful with half a dozen of the "most beautiful villages in France" within 45 minutes drive not to mention the numerous fairytale chateaux almost around every corner and the prehistorical caves and paintings

The campsite location is very quiet and private with the various types of pitches and accommodations spread spaciously through the site.

Other than placing your own tent or parking your motorhome there are various types of permanent accommodation on site.

Tent like structures with small wooden terraces of various sizes with proper beds and cooking facilities but having to use the shared sanitary facilities dotted around the campsite.

Three types of mobile home, one bedroom or two bedroom and one described as luxury each with their own toilet and shower, again with terrace table and chairs

Facilities on site include a very nice pool surrounded by sun chairs and shades and six double bed 'fourposter' for more comfort or play.

The snack bar serves light meals and drinks, has a large covered restaurant and a terrace overlooking the pool

This is open until 10.30 at night.

Opposite the snack bar, across the pool but down below is a night club/lounge bar open from 10.30pm to 1.30am each evening (limited opening in low season)

This bar has a resident DJ, music a mixture of French and latin beats.

Sexy dancing and couples teaming up but no play areas within the bar.

Play areas include a large tent with two huge raised mattresses ideal for group/orgy play although this was presently closed due to Covid being in a covered area.

Dotted around in the woodland are half a dozen double fourposter beds and mattresses including a type of tree house where you ascend a staircase to a see-through type of hammock, oddly enough with a picnic table located directly below!

Wipes, disenfectant and lube are all located next to these play areas

Also situated through this woodland are fitness type machines

The site offers various 'animations' during the day such as muscle awakening, aqua gym etc although we saw none of this, we were however offered a free massage and her ladyship enjoyed a lovely sensual 2 hour massage that sent her to sleep briefly, so definitely a plus point.

The site is open to couples, single fems and males and there was always a good handful of guys around of various ages from 30 to 50. Very polite and not as predatory as the Cap meerkats.

In the middle of last week there were about 15 couples on site mainly in the 50plus age range but on Friday the population increased to 50-70 couples with a much lower age range.

The site is very secure and at the entrance with large gate is the office and shop offering a basic range of foodstuff, suncreams etc.

For us the plus features were the location, the privacy, being naturiste, the pool and the opportunity for play throughout the site.

The clientele were almost 100% French and although this is not a problem since our own couple is already 50% French we did not hook up with anybody else during our stay.

We did however find that the atmosphere raised our libido so we had an intense and lovely time together.

We chose to stay in a two bedroom mobile home with the idea of having more comfort plus own toilet/shower.

The only things we didn't like was some of the comfort levels and the prices

The mobile home was small and basic even though we took the the two bedroom type, the main bedroom had 40cm of space surrounding the bed, the second bedroom having two small singles.

We had to provide all our own bedding including pillows and blankets but they did provide one toilet roll.

The mattress itself was good for fucking but rather hard for sleeping on and we did not get a very good nights sleep, table and chairs on the terrace were basic and uncomfortable as were some of the sunloungers by the pool

We felt that our mid season price for the mobile home of 120 euros per night was too high, considering the comfort levels as well as having to provide all bedding and basic sanitary goods.

We also had to ensure that the accommodation was perfectly clean on leaving or face an 80 euro charge.

Although we know we shouldn't compare, we are used to much more luxury accommodation plus cleaning when we visit La Mirage, GC, for 82 euros a night.

Overall though we enjoyed our visit and will definitely return, perhaps using the slightly cheaper I bed chalet, it's a good stop over to or from the Cap (about 5 hours) and lovely and peaceful in a naturist and libertine environment.

Hi we have visited as day guests twice this year, we own a house close by so it was an opportunity to try it out. We can’t comment on the accommodation only the setting. It was quite in May around 8/10 couples and a handful of single fellas. We spoke to one couple from Angouleme and they frequently visit in July and stated the pool area is totally full - there are precisely 100 beds situated around a very nice pool. The countryside is beautiful and the summer weather often very warm so perfect. The stand out feature for is however is the typical French (not) hospitality and customer service of this region of France. It really is so poor and the check in and out and the bar service and cordiality was appalling. The first time we visited we forgot our sun cream. We asked the shop if they sold any, they didn’t. We asked the bar if they had any to sell or provide and they didn’t - although there was 3 bottles of sun cream on the shelf behind the fella. I asked if it be possible to use a little (in French) he said no and walked off. We’ve owned a property in this area for over 20 years so we know what to expect, it’s nothing against the British, they just simply don’t do politeness and service very well. It’s worth a visit but it has its limitations.

To add to Lucianpound's review:

We really loved it. The location was great, and the combination of a swimming pool and play beds scattered through a shady wood was just perfect for a heat wave.

We speak almost no French, so we weren't expecting to play with anyone else. But the playbeds in the woods act as a meeting place throughout the day, and we were involved in a fivesome within two hours of arriving. That and two more threesomes on subsequent days meant that we left well satisfied.

The single guys are "select" - which seemed to mean polite and well behaved, and not lacking in the wedding tackle area!

One afternoon we counted 70 people by the pool, plus others in the bar area. There must be close to 100 pitches almost all of which were full, but walking around the only non-French cars we saw were one from Poland, one from Germany, and one from Holland (oh, and us).

The food and drink seemed to be reasonably priced - everywhere in France seems just as expensive when you're used to the Canary Isles.

We didn't get to try the free massage as it was completely booked up when we arrived for the three days we were there. But from what we saw it did look very good!

The club was open from 10-2 every night. We only went once, and an hour of French disco was enough for us. It did sound as if the playlist was a little more varied on other nights. Couples were pairing up on the dance floor and sneaking off to the playbeds in the woods, or the two very small play areas that are hidden behind the dance floor. When we went it seemed to get lively about 11.

Unless you have good French, or are the sort of people who'll just talk to anyone regardless, then it's not much of a social place. Maybe next year we should arrange a week for people from the UK to go? How about 10-17th June?

Oh, just remembered another good thing - next to each play bed in the woods there's a stock of condoms...

Chorley,

We stayed here September 2019 and loved it we stayed in a mobile home, tried to book for this September 2nd to the 7th and all booked up even the tents they rent out. So plan B is stay in a Airbnb apartment 5 mins away and we will go as a day visitor.

Just left after 3 days and thought would add our experience to the reviews already here.

We enjoyed our time here the French were welcoming and found the staff service to be very good.

The beds around the woods are great and ideal for playing with us alone and with others.

Within half an hour of being there we were asked to join in some fun.

We later hooked up with a French couple for a very good time.

One early evening we spent awhile for just us playing and fucking. It wasn't long before we had company though every one was polite and respectful fun and relaxing too.

The club was lively with people also playing on the two beds behind the dance floor.

The questions would we return the answer is definitely yes.

The only downside is it would have been nice to have some English company but then again we were in France!

Oh, one more thing...

We payed the 80 euros extra for sheets, towels and cleaning.

The towels we're pretty small and thin, and the sheets were some sort of horrible disposable things. If we went again we'd take our own bedding, and do the cleaning ourselves.
