I know this has been asked before, but the answers seem a bit confused or out of date.

We're going to CDA for the first time this June, and are staying in an AirBnB. What will it cost to get ourselves and our car on site, and is there any documentation we need to bring?

Thanks!

If you drive, try to get a green card for your car insurance and tell them you are going to Europe just in case. Driving licence, car registration and do not forget the tolls are pretty expensive (if you can have some cash for the small amount, it does save on fees).

The NHS can give you a european insurance card too, can be handy.

Not sure about covid though, everything has been dropped at the minute.

When I have hired a car, you just need to purchase a pass I think either daily or for a week. Probably need your passsport but don’t recall anything doc about the car needed. You then get a card which opens the gate so you can come and go as you like

pre- covid it was around 45 euros for a three day pass and car. A one day pass is only open to pedestrians and cyclists and you have to clear out by 8pm. Dont know what it is now ut shouldn't have changed much.
