And may all your COVIDS be Omicron ones!
Seriously, of all our family and friends only three haven't had it (after two years in France with no problem we ourselves came back to the UK for Christmas and immediately became infected), but nothing more serious than snuffles and a slight cough. We're more likely to suffer from all the booze and chocolate we've gorged in isolation! |

Thanks for the heads-up... in fact the missus has a thing for our Michel, she'll probably ask him to give her a body search!
Seriously, did you have to pre-book and pre-pay for any test(s) before you flew back to France, like we all had to before we could complete the Passenger Locator Form to enter the UK?
We're hoping our Fit-to-Fly tests next Friday will allow us to download our boarding passes and French entry forms and attestations to get the fuck out of here and back to France next Saturday... |

With the new system they have to - you have to complete an online document, print it off and sign at the end and show it to border control when entering France. The Gendarmes bring this same form to your house and give you the first page to take for your test and you have to sign the second page for them to keep. |

Yes you have to have a test within 24hrs of leaving for France. I ordered an LTR which I then took at home and had to upload a photo in real time. I got the certificate back within 15 mins (but the guarantee within 2 hrs)£20. |
