Cap Visitor 20 years should I keep Couples Profile?
Jump to: Newest in thread
Hi after a five year relationship lock down has taken its toll and am now single.
My question is should I keep couples profile and lose all verifications or edit user name and update profile description? Does this put off couples and single girls when viewing my profile or is it better to keep verifications referring to me giving an honest background history.
Thanks in advance for your response.

If we are looking for a single guy to play with we look at verifications to make sure they are not time wasters.
No Veri’s No chance
So keep your veris Steve, you’ve explained your present predicament in your profile and as you get new single guy verifications let a few of the couple ones go. |

Sorry to hear about your relationship ending.
As previously mentioned verifications are everything (well nearly) for a profile especially a single guy but.....
Having a couples profile gives you access to other people's profiles who have blocked single guys and even though you have made it very clear you are a single guy it can seem a sneaky way round the bl.ock. And sneaky on here isn't good.
Also you have made it clear Why you are single but it kind of also implies you're playing the sympathy card (just my opinion) therefore I would keep the profile but start a new singles profile and thereby making a clean break. To prove you are genuine you can have a link back to the couples profile. At least that way there is no perceived deception and you stand on your own two feet kind of thing.
Keeping it also means your friends still have a means of contacting you.
Oh and just my opinion but half your profile is all about copyright which makes it far longer than it should be thereby putting a lot off reading it. its actually a useless statement unless you have the funds and time (and a lot of both) to actually follow through with any legal action. Anything posted by you automatically belongs to you no matter the T&Cs of a website.
I can't imagine how hard it is to be in your situation but I wish you well. |

I think you should make a new single profile and as suggested above have a link to your couples profile so people can read your old verifications. You could contact the people who gave them and ask them to reverify your new single profile. |

Sorry to hear this. A similar thing has happened to me and I’ve reverted to my single profile. The couple one is hidden and I guess one of us will delete it when it feels right.
I think you can report your profile and explain you are now single and admin will change it so you wouldn’t lose your veris but you would be a single male.
Good luck whatever you choose. |
