I submitted my on-line request for a Titre de Séjour in November; it was acknowledged be e-mail with a Registration Number and an Attestation maintaining my “rights according to the Withdrawa Agreement” (whatever that might mean!) but since then nothing…
Normal, or has anybody’s application progressed further? |

Appointments for both confirmed at beginning of March. Mind you, we started the process two years ago!

When you get a date and time at Le Bureau de Étrangers, you just need to take your passport and one recent passport photo. They then take your fingerprints, and the process, judging by our timings, takes under 10 minutes. You should get the card about two weeks later. It will be recorded delivery, so don’t go on holiday! The French have now dropped the initial demand for €119. |

I applied for mine last year and am still awaiting for my appointment with the prefecture.. suspect it may be later than June, but hey I do have a number and a piece of paper to wave about a bit.. lol |

I applied in November and have my confirmation email.
I don't really expect to hear more until the summer at least...
It is a lot less onerous than applying for Nationality  |

Got the confirmation email but heard nothing since. No requests for any further documentation. Think it is the case that some prefectures are working quicker than others. Our friends in another area have already got their appointment for later this month |

We only applied for ours just before Xmas we got our registration numbers almost instantly. These numbers did allow us to return to France last week accompanied by a valid COVID-19 test and a utility bill. Looks like we can also get vaccinated using passport and registration numbers Looks like we may have along wait until we receive a appointment. |

We applied as soon as the website would allow back in October and got the standard response and attestation.
We already had active 'permanent' cartes so the process was really quick. Not sure if it will make a difference in the time it takes to process.
One of our French friends did say that the delay in processing the applications was due to the fact that the agreement between the Uk and the EU was/is/could be/may be (please delete as applicable!) was still having the small print worked on - pffft!!! |

Well I had my appointment at the prefecture, only a 6 hour round trip. They took my papers and photos and said that I should get my card from the printers in 3 to 4 months. Delay is due to the number of people applying. |

Honestly it is you and your luck , I've seen civil servant doing a trendemous job and other looking at the clock awaiting to end their day

The thing that surprised us was that there are only 657 Brits that have applied in our department!!!!
We imagined for some reason there was thousands not hundreds.

We applied for ours back in October. We finally had an email saying that we had both been accepted....
and to be patient!
Guess that means "we haven't sorted out the actual card yet"
I was hoping to get mine before I buggered off to work (outside the EU) at the end of the month. Sooooo I will be adding the attestation and the acceptance email to the mountain of paperwork that I have to take!
Meanwhile, back at the OK Corral.... |

"Funnily enough when I took my dossier in with my photos despite s fingerprint machine on the counter I wasnt asked to give mine.. strange I thought as it's supposed to be biometric "
When I went for the old one in the summer of 2019 they took my fingerprints at the end of the interview. |

we applied second day the portal opened and apart from the first acknowledgement email have heard nothing since , seems to be the same for all brits the Herault |

Experience dictates that we would get a standard Gaelic Shrug.. pffft.. covid.. no staff... there's an 'r' in this month.. French bureaucratic book of standard excuses ... lift application and place to bottom of pile!

Actually, thinking on it, the "be patient" bit of their message could be
more along the lines of "we're getting fed up with people phoning to ask what's happening, so shut up and we will let you know"
Now, with hindsight, that makes more sense than our previous post! |

I applied late Dec, called to the Prefecture for fingerprinting at the start of February (10 mins in and out)
That also came with the warning of 4-5 months possible delay, but lo and behold, it arrived March 1

Yippee!
Called to the Prefecture (Draguignan) for finger-printing on 31 August, "Carte de Séjour Permanent" arrived by post today.
German wife granted "settled status" in the UK (took nearly as long, one excuse after the other not to reach a decision), we're now almost back to pre-BREXIT travelling as and when we want and to wherever most mmf fun is to be had... |
