"Just heard that the village had been closed by the local authorities in Montpellier to all visitors, only owners / residents allowed in !!  "
Does that mean they have expelled all holiday makers from the village or just not letting new people get in ? |

Europe's holiday month ended over the weekend. Thousands of people went home, taking any Covid with them.

But it was nice of them to allow people to enjoy their holiday, particularly when precisely 4 people died of (or with) covid yesterday. |

Friday was really busy on the beach, both ends. Looks like a lot of people came for the good weekend weather.
Village dead though 2+2 closed on Friday night. Only a few restaurants open (Ghymnos thriving and crowded). Wokkers, as was, busy, but looked a bit too crowded downstairs. Very quiet after 11.00.
Manchester flight out had about 30 passengers, same going back. Not asked for locator forms going out or coming home.
TBH the village looks the perfect place for a cheap sunshine break at the moment. |

To be fair there are not that many people travelling anywhere these days.
I suppose it's only to be expected that Cap should dominate the France forum on a swinger site. Pretty much the same with Gran Canaria in the Spain forum.
I think both will go very quiet this winter, or at least until people start thinking about holidays again. |
