Why is the parties and meet requests page still open?

So the meets calendar is closed due to Coronvirus - a step I agree with - but the Meet Requests page still seems to be open - which kind of defeats the point of closing the meets calendar page. |

Probably because lots of the members who support this site financially would boycott this place at the mere thought of being fractionally sensible |
