I know probably there’s loads of thread or topics about this. When u report someone. They gone as blocked but still allowed on the site.

Well probably my post gonna b closed by moderator.

Blocking is very subjective. Ehat one person will block someone for, others will like.

Of you have a genuine concern you need to report them and mods will have a look at the report.

I been on this site for almost 3 years or probably more. This the second profile of mine. I tolerated abuse but when it got out of hand i reported it. But the guy I reported like 5-6 months ago because being abusive is still on here. But it just showed as blocked. I’m just saying

Thing is though, they could remove him and he could still rejoin on an new account anyway. Sometimes I'd rather just block them and then I atleast know they aren't stalking me on a knew profile.

I blocked them if I think it’s too much. But they seems to be on the same profile not a new ones.

I think sometimes admin just block the two profiles from each other. Sometimes they get a suspension, but that's temporary and they get to come back. I think it all depends what's been said.

They could rejoin but then they will look like a new starter, lose all their verifications and friends on here and have to basically start again and I know that for men that's really hard.

If you report for abuse and it is verified Admin put a block between you so they can't mail you again assuming they don't get chucked off of course

Here is an explanation from Admin from another thread on how they deal with reports.

******Just a quick note. If people report others and we can verify that they have broken site rules, we always take action (either a first and final warning, partially suspended account, fully suspended, mixture of the above).

Every single report sent via the REPORT link is reviewed. Clearly it's not in our interests to have people on here who are bad for the site. Equally we need to verify what has been reported and be fair to those who have been reported.

PS. we never provide feedback on what has happened. It's just not practical given that we get 100s of reports a day.

Here is what the page says after a report has been submitted:

Your feedback has been saved.

A website admin will shortly review your feedback and take the necessary action. After reviewing the evidence available to us, we may disable an account, remove a user, disable certain aspects of that user's account or issue a warning.

By leaving feedback you help improve the site for everyone who uses it. Thank you.******
