"If you block someone why can they still see and comment on your forum posts" I’ve asked this before and the reason is that what they say might wreck the flow of the thread if their replies were removed.

I'm on another forum where the block feature includes not seeing what that person posts. Ever. Yay!
The next best thing would be to just hop skip and jump over the blocked person post. Its what I do. |

It could very easily be done as with Kik. There the comments are not removed, so the flow continues for everyone, but for you it's simply obscured, also helps with knowing if they are online at the time and you just wait till they aren't. |
